二 |          霍顿塔克是2019年的次轮秀，虽然顺位不高，但他曾经确实被视为湖人未来，湖人管理层甚至还为了他做出过错误决定。         时间回到2019年选秀大会，霍顿塔克在次轮16顺位被魔术选中，随后被送到湖人，新秀赛季他得到的机会并不多，一共只打了6场比赛，但成功跟随詹姆斯、浓眉、隆多等众多大佬拿到总冠军。         随后2020-21赛季，霍顿塔克得到更多重用，这一年他出战了65场比赛，其中61场替补，场均上场20.1分钟，得到9.0分2.6篮板2.8助攻1.0抢断，三项命中率45.8%/28.2%/77.5%。         虽然也有一些不足之处，但当时的霍顿塔克只有20岁，普遍认为，他还有继续进步的可能性，湖人管理层也因此用一份3年3078万合同将其留下。         值得一提的是，同一年休赛期，湖人其实还面临卡鲁索的续约，但后来的结果我们都知道，湖人最终选择了留下霍顿塔克、放弃卡鲁索——这并非一道单选题，在续约霍顿塔克后，湖人可以继续帽上操作留下卡鲁索，但因为薪资压力，湖人只愿意开出3年2100万，卡鲁索最终以4年3700万加盟公牛，后来转会雷霆夺冠，当然，这是另外一段故事了。         回到霍顿塔克，有趣的一件事，在2021年休赛期，知名体育媒体露天看台曾经评选了一份24岁以下24大年轻球员，霍顿塔克排在了第22位，而排在第23位的，正是后来拿了两座MVP+带队夺冠+FMVP的亚历山大。         显然，他的成长并没有达到预期。         在续约之后的第一年，即2021-22赛季，霍顿塔克为湖人出战了60场比赛，其中19场首发，场均上场时间增加到25.2分钟。

三 | 他最终交出的表现是：场均10.0分3.2篮板2.7助攻，三项命中率41.6%/26.9%/80.0%，真实命中率50.3%。

四 |          2022年休赛期，在霍顿塔克合同生效的一年后，湖人就决定放弃他，在一笔交易当中，霍顿塔克被送到了爵士，湖人只换回了贝弗利。         所谓新秀看三年，在前三年生涯结束之时，霍顿塔克的缺点就已经非常明显了，他是一个进攻效率严重不足、缺少三分威胁的球员，这类后场如果没有特长的话，最容易被NBA淘汰。

五 |          加盟爵士后，霍顿塔克打了两年时间，但这两年表现也比较普通：          ——2022-23赛季，场均10.7分3.2篮板3.8助攻，三项命中率41.9%/28.6%/75.0%，真实命中率50.8%          ——2023-24赛季，场均10.1分2.4篮板3.5助攻，三项命中率39.6%/33.0%/80.7%，真实命中率50.3%          算上湖人的最后一年，相当于霍顿塔克连续三个赛季场均得分上双，但是也连续三个赛季真实命中率只有50%出头。         2024年休赛期，霍顿塔克当初与湖人签下的那份合同到期，成为自由球员的他与公牛签下了一份底薪，但他的表现也是非常糟糕：出战58场比赛，全部替补，场均上场12.5分钟，仅仅得到6.5分1.7篮板1.4助攻，三项命中率45.7%/33.6%/73.5%。         再来就是去年夏天，年仅24岁的霍顿塔克在自由市场上无人问津，然后以一年100万美元加盟欧洲联赛土耳其豪门费内巴切。         值得一提的是，上赛季在欧洲联赛上，霍顿塔克的表现相当不错：出战41场比赛，33场首发，场均可以拿到15.7分3.8篮板2.2助攻。         在欧洲赛场，霍顿塔克不仅成为了球队核心，还凭借出色发挥入选了欧篮联赛季最佳第二阵容，如今他也与球队完成续约。         纯个人观点，现阶段的霍顿塔克还是更加适合欧洲联赛，在那里他有球权有地位，可以像个明星那样打球，而如果回到NBA，他还会面临之前的很多问题，比如没有投篮、进攻低效。         但未来，不排除霍顿塔克回归的可能性——就像两年前的亚布塞莱，在欧洲（主要是奥运会）打出名堂，再回NBA继续镀金。
